Here is a list of road and related construction projects in Waterbury and the nearby area that may affect travels this week.

Road Work | Nov. 1-4
Work isn’t technically on a road this week on Vermont Route 100 but it’s affecting traffic this week. Town crews are installing a sewer line between the Colby Mansion just north of Shaw’s to Mad River Cabinet Design near the intersection with Laurel Lane.

Road Work | Oct. 17-21
Construction continues this week on the road into Waterbury Center State Park. We share photos from AOT on the giant I-89 culvert project, too.

Reconstruction at the entrance to Reservoir Road by the Waterbury Center State Park begins Tuesday, Oct. 11, with access closed to vehicles and pedestrians. More on other projects in and near Waterbury.

Paving on Stowe Street is complete and line painting will be done later this year, according to Public Works Director Bill Woodruff.

Paving on Stowe Street will continue on Saturday, July 30, and could be completed by the end of the day if all goes according to plan.

Starting Friday, July 22, crews will be working on Stowe Street between the dry bridge and Lincoln Street to prepare the roadway for paving.

Interstate 89 overnight closure; On Stowe Street, Town highway crews will continue working to adjust various structures in the roadway such as manholes, storm drains, etc. in preparation for paving.

Stowe Street Bridge Update Nov. 2-3
The Waterbury Department of Public Works will close the Stowe Street bridge over Thatcher Brook near the intersections of Route 100 and Lincoln Street on Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 2-3.
