Harwood’s No. 2 Highlanders will face No. 1 Hartford today in the Division II Boys Lacrosse championship game at Norwich University at 4:30 p.m.
Harwood handily defeated No. 3 Stowe on Tuesday in the semifinal at home. Hartford likewise got past fifth-seed Milton in the other semi, 10-4. Read the Times Argus Harwood-Stowe game story here.
This is Harwood Coach Chris Lamonia’s first trip to the title game with the Highlanders, but it’s the program’s fifth championship appearance in the last seven years. Harwood took home the trophy most recently in 2021 with a win over Rice Memorial.
Tickets can be purchased in advance of today’s match online: $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors. Tickets also will be available at the gate. There are no concessions today at the game and dogs are not allowed at the playing fields at Norwich.
