Good Morning
June 8 | By Karen Cavender
We can never go back
and be strangers
We are family now
Through blood and breath
sin and sorrow
We are tethered to each other
Treading water
in a sea of doubt
and unshared truths
Fighting the tide
But seeking the shore
Karen Cavender lives in Waterbury Center. She shares her Good Morning poems with family and friends. We’re happy when she sends one our way.
