Time is running away

Have mercy

here and now

Don’t keep your

heart on lockdown

Have the courage

to love without expectation

Sometimes breaking your heart

can fix your vision

Just remember

love is the only permanent

It’s the source of all of life’s

Heart stopping beauty

and

Breathtaking kindness

Karen Cavender lives in Waterbury Center.  She pens her poems under the title “Good Morning” and shares them with family and friends. We asked if she would occasionally send one our way.
