To the Community:

I’d like to send a BIG shout out of gratitude to the Harwood Boosters Club for their incredible hospitality tent at last Saturday's soccer finals. Like many in our surrounding communities, we went for the whole day to watch both the boys and girls compete. We got there at 9:30 and left after 5:00. Uncharacteristically, the last thing I thought of was bringing food along with us. The Boosters Club had a huge layout under Harwood tents with face painting, signs, black & gold beads & glitter and a never-ending assortment of really nice food, snacks, drinks, hot cocoa and cider.

I'd also like to thank the Waterbury Fire Department for meeting the boys’ bus at the rotary and accompanying the Division II 2023 Vermont Boys State Soccer Champions through town.  We've seen this before and it NEVER gets old.

And the biggest thanks go to all the athletes who represented our communities that day.  We share in your joys AND your sorrows. We are so very, VERY proud of your teams and how each and every one of you pulled together to get to the championship. What a class act you are!!!

And hey.......what about those COACHES?????
