Police look to i.d. pair using stolen credit card on shopping spree

Vermont State Police are looking for help identifying two men who apparently went on a shopping spree in Williston after acquiring someone else’s credit card or cards at the Country Club of Vermont in Waterbury last week.

This incident happened Thursday afternoon, May 27, according to Trooper Ryan Riegler from the Middlesex barracks. 

The pair is wanted for grand larceny given that they purchased thousands of dollars of merchandise. The purchases were made between 3:20 and 4 p.m. at Best Buy, Staples and Dicks Sporting Goods at Taft Corners in Williston, police said. 

The police shared several photos taken from security cameras at Best Buy showing the men making the purchases and exiting the store. One man is white and one is Black. They both are seen wearing hats and masks. Anyone with information to help identify the suspects should call the Middlesex state police barracks at 229-9191.
