Harwood teams advance to semifinal matches

After defeating No. 4 Milton 6-2 in Wednesday's Division II quarterfinal, No. 5 Harwood Boys Hockey takes to the ice at Leddy Arena today at 5 p.m. against the No. 1 Colchester Lakers in the D-II semifinal game.
The winner will face off on Tuesday night against whomever prevails in today's other matchup between No. 2 Lyndon Institute and No. 3 Hartford.
Fourth-ranked Harwood Girls Basketball continues their roll to the state title match, defeating Lyndon 50-43 in Friday’s quarterfinal. They next head to the semifinal match at the Barre Auditorium on Monday at 8:15 p.m. to play No. 1 North Country who knocked out No. 8 Enosburg Falls on Friday. The other semifinal is a matchup of No. 2 Fair Haven and No. 3 Lamoille. The final is scheduled for Saturday, March 9.
The No. 3-ranked Harwood Boys Basketball team ended their season 16-6 last Saturday in the quarterfinal with a loss to Otter Valley, 70-59.
