LETTER: Demonstration organizers share details ahead of vice president’s visit

Protest the destructive and illegal actions of the Trump/Vance administration in Waitsfield, Vermont.
Americans are being betrayed.
We are outraged about what is going on in D.C.
We are outraged about the theft of our personal data.
We are outraged about people losing jobs in our State of Vermont.
We are outraged by the lies.
We are outraged by the cruelty.
We are outraged that the US is now aligned with Russia and North Korea.
We are fearful for our future.
WHAT: Protest against the destructive and illegal actions of the Trump/Vance administration
WHO: Indivisible Mad River Valley
WHEN: Saturday, March 1, 9-10 a.m.
WHERE: Route 100 in Waitsfield on the sidewalks in front of the Mad River Green
We’re a grassroots movement of thousands of local Indivisible groups with a mission to elect progressive leaders, rebuild our democracy, and defeat the Trump agenda.
Additional information:
Stay on the sidewalk! This is VERY important. This is for public safety AND it's our First Amendment right to be on the sidewalk.
No standing on private property – you can be arrested and there may be lots of security
ALWAYS peaceful – every second.
If bad actors show up, ignore them. If they are threatening, call 911, give them your name, location and what is happening.
If someone is being harassed, surround our member with your back to the bad actor. Ignore the bad actors! Do not escalate!
