LETTER: Bobbi Rood looks to a second school board term

February 28, 2025

To the Community:

I am running for a second three-year term as a school director in Waitsfield. I am committed to seeing a reasonable solution to education funding in our community as well as statewide. My professional training has prepared me to be able to look at all sides of an issue openly and to collaborate with others.

A member of both the Harwood Unified Union School District School Board’s Finance and Community Outreach Committees, I am vitally involved in getting to solutions and being transparent about the process. Strengths include my ability to remain objective and take a measured look at all sides of an issue. Another strength is creative problem-solving and willingness to accept change.

I am looking forward to another three years on the board in order to maintain consistency in planning for the future of the quality of the excellent schools we have while addressing affordability and consolidation options.

We stand on the board as leaders of exceptional education and are also providing leadership in excellence and financial viability.

Bobbi Rood
