Jan. 6 Rally in the Valley

Members of Indivisible Mad River Valley hosted a Jan. 6 rally along Vermont Route 100 in Waitsfield near the Mad River Green.

The demonstration marked three years since the deadly attack on the U.S. Capitol. Organizers said it served to kick off the 2024 election year with the message: “We will always defend democracy.”

Close to two dozen people participated. 

Organized in 2017, Indivisible Mad River Valley is a local group of citizens active on a number of statewide and national political issues. New members are invited to join via the group’s Facebook page. For more information, email IndivisibleMRV@gmail.com.
