Cindy Senning: Continuing to work to support local schools

March 1, 2023

Hello Duxbury voters!

I am Cindy Senning one of your two representatives to the Harwood Unified Union School District School Board.

I am on the ballot this March to continue in that position for three years. Over the past 25 years, I have served Duxbury as principal of its primary school before we merged with Waterbury, as a parent of two children who went through the district k-12; I was on the school board that merged Waterbury and Duxbury and built Crossett Brook Middle School, and have been on the current board for one and a half years.

I am committed to being a part of providing an excellent educational program for all the children in our district. The challenges facing the board in the next three years include among other things, supporting students and their families, our staff, all six of our communities, selection of excellent administrators when openings come up, and addressing the physical plant needs. Also, the board needs to respond to other issues as they arise.

I hope you will support me in all my efforts to take part in creating the very best educational, fiscally responsible system we can. Please always feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. My contact info is on the HUUSD website in the section for the board.

Thank you for your support,

Cindy Senning
