I’m just a 30-year-old, working class guy. You’ll see me delivering food for your local pizza place. I work nights at a warehouse in Barre.

I grew up in Canaan, Vt., and later on chose to get my bachelor’s in Business Management/IT at Vermont Technical College. Burlington was my home for a while after graduation, but I always missed the small towns I’d lived in over the years when that was no longer the case. I like the busy nature of Vermont’s bigger cities, but I much prefer Vermont’s small community appeal. This is where Waterbury comes into mind.

I was working for a local solar installation outfit for a while and decided the roof in the middle of January just wasn’t for me anymore. I didn’t want to leave Waterbury however, so I’ve recently been working a series of jobs to get through the pandemic. Food delivery and nights in Barre it is!

With this “brief” bio I hope to show you all that I’m simply your typical 7th-8th generation Vermonter. I was taught to work until the job is done on construction sites over the years. This means I’m not afraid to put in the long hours and appreciate the results at the end of the day. It’s important to take pride in the work we all do daily.

I’d be proud to work for the people of Waterbury and be a voice for any and all of their concerns/insights. I will go the extra mile for my neighbors. They will regularly get visits from me as I make my way around town. To me, an elected member of government at any level should be actually having face time with the people they claim to be helping.

My support will not stop at town meetings. I will readily hear from any of you at any time. That helps build rapport and increases trust between local folks and their elected officials. I’d love for people to feel comfortable with the choices their select board members made for them. It will be much easier to keep everyone involved and represented if the channels of communication are always open.

I’d love a chance to show you all that I would be a great asset to our community if allowed to occupy a seat on Waterbury’s town select board.

Thank you everyone. Be well.
