LETTER: Outpour ’24 fundraiser benefits flood recovery

September 11, 2024

To the Community:

On Saturday, Sept. 7, Sugarbush Resort along with the Mad River Rotary and Lawsons Finest Liquids hosted Outpour ’24, a fundraiser to benefit flood victims throughout Vermont.

Despite the cloudy and slightly wet weather, everyone enjoyed a great day of food, music and games at Mt. Ellen with dancing continuing well beyond the initial closing time. One hundred percent of the ticket sales, raffle and silent auction proceeds will go directly to the Vermont Flood Response and Recovery Fund at the VT Community Fund, whose focus is not only immediate relief efforts but also resiliency and filling in the gaps that are not supported by FEMA and state funds. The event raised over $9,000.

We would like to thank all the bands & donors for their immense generosity. Mad River Rotary volunteers were invaluable throughout the day – many thanks to each and every one! Music was provided by Abby Jenne, Kind Bud, Guitfiddle, Ragged Company, Running in Circles and the Grift.

Raffle prizes and silent auction items were donated by:
