Main Street Construction Update | Oct. 22-30

Overall: 

  • Stowe Street special note: A water line replacement is underway starting Oct. 22 through Oct. 30 on lower Stowe Street between Bidwell Lane and Main Street. Stowe Street will be temporarily closed during this time. There will be pedestrian access and businesses will be open. Bidwell Lane will be closed to thru traffic but will be accessible by Foundry Street. 

  • Paving through Oct. 30: Expect traffic delays Tuesday through Friday, Oct. 27-30, for paving along all of Main Street and side streets.  

  • Flaggers and pedestrian crossers are present. 

Between Dac Rowe Park and Stowe Street

  • Permanent and temporary driveway pavement is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 23. Expect about an hour or so of loss of driveway access while this occurs.

  • Driveway, sidewalk, and walkway cleanup continues.

  Between Stowe Street and Park Street

  • This week and next week, concrete sidewalks are being installed from Stowe Street to Foundry Street and at the intersection with Park Row.

  • Permanent driveway pavement is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 23.  Expect about an hour or so of loss of driveway access while this occurs.

  • Driveway, sidewalk, and walkway cleanup continues.

  • New lampposts will continue to be installed.

Park Row to the end of the project  

  • Paving: Expect traffic delays for paving Tuesday through Friday, Oct. 27-30.
