Main Street Construction | May 28 - June 5

Construction activities are ongoing in all project segments along Main Street and side roads; flaggers and pedestrian crossers are present throughout. Expect delays and one-way alternating traffic.

Between Dac Rowe Park and Stowe Street: Road is being widened; travel lanes have shifted. Sewer work is beginning. Residents and businesses are advised to have bottled water on hand in case it is needed.

Between Stowe Street and Park Street: New excavation starting at Park Street going towards the downtown core; traffic lanes have shifted. Park Row intersection will see heavy construction activity the week of June 1.

Road cut work will disrupt driveway access on the odd-numbered side of South Main Street. Flaggers will assist vehicles in and out.

Conduit installation continues from Foundry Street to the Village Market.

Between Park Row and the end of the project: Concrete sidewalks will be poured along the even-numbered side of the street. Temporary sidewalks on the odd-numbered side will be removed to prep for granite curbs to be installed in another week. Crews will coordinate with property owners, residents.
