Main Street Construction | July 17-24

Construction activities are ongoing in all segments along Main Street and side roads. Flaggers and pedestrian crossers are present throughout. Expect traffic delays and one-way alternating traffic.

Between Dac Rowe Park and Stowe Street:

Waterline and sewer service installations continue in this segment. Water may be turned off briefly while the switchover to the new line takes place. Residents and businesses should have water on site for drinking, washing, and flushing while work is ongoing in this area. Expect traffic delays. Driveways will have temporary closures as excavation is done. Temporary parking is available at the municipal offices and library.

Main Street between Stowe Street and Park Street: Final drainage work will take place between Bargain Boutique and Stowe Street. Businesses are open. Expect traffic delays. Curbing prep will begin along South Main St. between Rusty Parker Park and Foundry Street.

From Park Row to the end of the project: Properties will experience temporary disruptions in these segments while driveways are graded and paved. If you see workers at your location and you need to get in or out, please talk to a member of the work crew for assistance. Residential walkways will have concrete poured or paved depending on what was there prior to construction. Stamped concrete work will continue to take place.
