UPDATE: Revised Mud Season school bus routes until further notice

After consulting with local town highway departments, First Student and Harwood Unified Union School District have issued the following revised Mud Season school bus routes that will be in effect until further notice.
The aim for this schedule is to keep buses from driving gravel roads when they are experiencing springtime muddy conditions.
MORNING BUS ROUTES
Brookside Primary School
Bus 1
Crossett Hill Road – Meet Bus 1 at the intersection of Crossett Hill Road and Morse Road at 7:20 a.m.

Gregg Hill Road – Meet Bus 2 at the North end of Gregg Hill at 7:00 a.m. or the South end at 7:10 a.m.
Spruce Haven Road – Meet Bus 2 at Route 100 & Spruce Haven Road 7:05 a.m.

Harwood schools: Mud Season school bus routes in effect Mon. morning, March 17
March 14, 2025 | By Waterbury Roundabout The Harwood Unified Union School District on Friday announced that Mud Season bus routes will be in effect on Monday morning, March 17.
The weather forecast calls for rain on Sunday and Monday following several days of spring-like temperatures.
School officials say they consulted with town road departments in the district and have shared the list of modified bus routes given the expected conditions on Monday. This list was also shared with families via email on Friday. Parents should watch email for updates regarding afternoon bus stops. This post will be updated on Monday with whatever new information is announced.
