The Waterbury Historical Society’s New Book Committee is working diligently and enthusiastically on gathering stories about the community’s past 20 years.

In April, the New Book Committee sent letters to local businesses and organizations inviting each to share a brief history, to share how their business or organization has impacted the vitality of Waterbury and to share their vision for the future.

The committee also wishes to invite community members to provide stories about notable individuals, groups, businesses, or whatever topic the writer believes will capture the spirit of our community.  Writers are asked to check in with the committee regarding their ideas to be sure it's not already being covered. Submissions would be appreciated by September 15.

See guidelines and more details on putting together a piece for the project that were posted on Waterbury Roundabout on June 4

The New Book Committee will plan a special event to launch the publication in 2021.
