The Aug. 2 Fun Run hosted by the Harwood Cross Country team saw a break from the rain and muck and the dozen or so runners enjoyed a pleasantly cool evening with sunshine on the Harwood trails. 

The winter sports season, although shortened and different due to the pandemic, prospered on with it came to Harwood Union athletes this year. Here’s a roundup of post-season honors.

Among the many casualties of the pandemic has been the high school sport of wrestling this school year. Wrestling competitions for the winter sports season were quickly dismissed, but the thought of months of inactivity didn’t bode well for the usually active Harwood Union High School wrestlers.
