Mad River youth spring soccer registration is open

Registration is now open for the Mad River Valley Soccer Association’s boys and girls spring soccer program.
Each spring, MRVSA provides a competitive soccer experience for youngsters from the Mad River Valley and Waterbury-Duxbury communities. The spring travel program participates in the Vermont Soccer League and is geared for players who have demonstrated a higher level of skill and commitment to the sport of soccer.
Games begin the first weekend in May and the season typically ends in mid-June. Teams practice at Mad River Park, usually with two practices per week.
Team assignments are based on players’ age. Registration is now open through Jan. 30 for players born in the years 2005 to 2016. The registration fee is $130.
Late registration -- after Jan. 30 -- will be based on roster availability. Players are not guaranteed a spot after Jan. 30. Also, the registration fee increases to $150 after Jan. 30. Late registration closes on Feb. 24.
