Highlander Youth Lacrosse offers a spring program for boys and girls in grades K-8 and registration for 2025 is now open.

The season begins in March and runs through mid-June with practices on weekdays and jamboree-style games on the weekends.

Organizers say it’s never too late to start and novice players are welcome to join a spring team.

The league does not charge a registration fee for players in grades K-2 in its Waterbury and Waitsfield “Chillax” programs, although those players need to sign up with USA Lacrosse for $35 for a year membership.

Separate boys and girls teams are organized by grade: 3/4, 5/6, 7/8.

The early registration fee through Dec. 31 is $100 per player. That increases by $25 after Jan. 1 and again by $25 after March 31 through April 30.

Highlander Youth Lacrosse is a nonprofit volunteer-based organization offering boys and girls in grades K-8 in the Harwood Unified Union School District and surrounding community the opportunity to learn, play and enjoy the game of lacrosse in a safe, respectful and fun environment.

More information and registration are online at highlanderlacrosse.com
