Organizers of the Mad River Valley Soccer Association’s spring season say registration is now open for boys and girls at the pre-K through second-grade levels.

Mad River Valley Soccer offers an intramural, co-ed program for children in preschool who are at least 4 years old through second grade.

The U-6 PreK-Kindergarten group will practice once a week on Saturdays, 9-10 a.m., at Flemer Field In Waitsfield, starting on May 3. This is a fun introduction to soccer with play-based activities. First graders who are new to soccer or are not interested in competition yet are also welcome at this level.

The U-8 grade 1-2 group (birthdays in 2017-2018) will have one practice during the week at Flemer Field in Waitsfield. Their games will be on Saturdays at the fields at the Ice Center in Waterbury (new this year). Practices will start the week of April 28 with the first game on May 3, weather permitting.

The season runs through early June.

Registration is now open online to players in the Mad River Valley and Waterbury area. Program fees per player are $50 for preK-K and $75 for grades 1-2. Scholarships are available. To learn more about scholarships or for any additional information, email registrar@MadRiverValleySoccer.org
