Sunday, Dec. 15, was a popular day for holiday celebrations and events around Waterbury and Duxbury. Photographer Gordon Miller caught the scenes with visiting reindeer and Santa Finn on Stowe Street and Waterbury Rotary’s annual Santa in the Park at Rusty Parker. Mrs. Claus also visited Tiny Acorn with stories, gifts and treats.

We hear Santa also made a stop at Cold Hollow Cider Mill that day before returning on the 19th with the Vermont National Guard convoy that rolled through town.

Duxbury Historical Society also gathered folks together for a sing-along at the Old Meeting House across from Harwood.

The same afternoon, the Duxbury Historical Society hosted a community sing-along at the Old Meeting House in South Duxbury, the organization’s home.
