Notice: Central Vermont Career Center Open House

Central Vermont Career Center will host an Open House and College Fair on November 16 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at both of its locations: 155 Ayers Street, Suite 2, Barre, and at Vermont Granite Museum:  7 Jones Brothers Way, Barre. A shuttle will be provided between both facilities.

This event is an opportunity for community members to explore CVCC, gain insights into its educational programs and get a firsthand look at its classrooms.

Tours will be offered for visitors to meet CVCC staff and instructors, visit classrooms and interactive learning environments. Visitors will get to see the CVCC Design and Fabrication program at the Vermont Granite Museum. Students will offer presentations with opportunities to discuss their programs and ask questions.

Visit the silent auction and place bids on items and services created or provided by instructors, staff, and students. CVCC branded items will be available for purchase at the swag sale. All proceeds support CVCC’s mission.

The College Fair section will have representatitves from a number of colleges and technical schools including: Community College of Vermont, Vermont State University, Lincoln Technical Institute, University of Southern Maine, Paul Smith's College, Vermont Air National Guard, Lakes Region Community College, Norwich University, Champlain College.

Applications for the 2024-25 school year open Nov. 16 and new students may apply at the Open House.
