LETTER: Johnson, Clapp bring ‘experience and understanding’

February 27, 2022

To the community:

This year, I am voting for Waterbury Select Board candidates Alyssa Johnson and Roger Clapp (a write-in candidate). Experience in local organizations and commitment to an inclusive community is important to me and to Waterbury’s future. Alyssa and Roger both bring critical local experience and understanding of our local economy and community needs.

Alyssa Johnson has served on our Waterbury Planning Commission and Revitalizing Waterbury, and as staff at the Vermont Council on Rural Development,  has a deep passion for building strong communities.

Village resident Roger Clapp is president of our Waterbury Winterfest, has been a local coach with two sons at Harwood, and works for local non-profit PH International.

Significantly, both candidates are committed to ensuring Waterbury remains a community that welcomes all. On Town Meeting Day, for Select Board, please write in Roger Clapp and vote for Alyssa Johnson.
