Seven years ago in 2017, a family of nine from New Hampshire booked the entire Moose Meadow Lodge and Treehouse in Duxbury for a visit in April 2024 despite the lodge usually being closed during mud season. The reason? A total eclipse of the sun on April 8, 2024 that will be visible in northern parts of Vermont.
