Vermont State Police are seeking help from the public to identify individuals in a retail theft investigation that involves incidents recently at the Warren Store in Warren and Stowe Street Emporium in Waterbury.

On Thursday, state police issued a news release with photos of a woman they were seeking who was at the Warren Store on Jan. 01, at approximately 1:30 p.m. An individual left without paying for merchandise valued at $925, according to the release. Two images (below) from store security footage were included with that report. Click to enlarge images.

On Friday, Trooper Mae Murdock issued an update in the matter saying that the Waterbury merchant had contacted state police saying they believed the same individual may be connected to a retail theft at their store. That incident took place on Dec. 15 at approximately 2:40 p.m., police said. Police did not share a value of the item taken in that instance.

Police shared additional images (below) of two people – a man and a woman – from the Waterbury store’s security cameras. Click images to enlarge.

Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is encouraged to contact Trooper Murdock at the Berlin barracks at 802-229-9191. Anonymous tips may be made online at vsp.vermont.gov/tipsubmit.
