Main Street Construction | Update Nov. 25-Dec. 4

No construction activities will occur from noon on Wednesday, Nov. 25, through Sunday, Nov. 29, for the Thanksgiving holiday.

  • December 1 will mark the end of the season for road construction. However, there will be necessary work remaining on the new traffic signal at the Stowe Street intersection with Main Street. That is not scheduled yet as it is contingent on supplies from the vendor.

  • Clean-up in all areas continues.

  • Raising valve boxes in the roadway will continue. 

  • Crews are working to button up for the winter season. Any work not completed now will resume in the spring. 

  • Flaggers and pedestrian crossers will be present where activities are taking place. 

Reminder: This schedule is contingent on weather, equipment, supplies and other circumstances.
