U.S. Sens. Bernie Sanders and Peter Welch along with U.S. Rep. Becca Balint and Gov. Phil Scott will hold a statewide telephone and online town meeting on Vermont’s flooding disaster tonight, Wednesday, July 26.

The purpose of the meeting is to answer questions and provide information on the federal and state response to the disaster, and details on how to access aid available to individuals, homeowners, farms, displaced employees, and small businesses.

Participants on the call will be able to submit a question during the town meeting and will have the option of asking it live.

State and federal officials will be available on the call to help answer Vermonters’ questions. More than 170 Vermonters have submitted a question in advance.

The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. Those on a call list will receive a call in advance from Sanders’ office.

Vermonters who do not receive a call may listen to the event via livestream on Facebook pages for Sanders, Welch, Balint and Scott.
