Waterbury projects

Public Works Director Bill Woodruff said several projects will be taking place this week:

  • Crosswalk painting will be wrapping up downtown early Tuesday morning in the areas under Main Street traffic signals and at the end of Elm Street (weather permitting).

  • Town highway staff will be continuing the gravel resurfacing and ditching work on Sweet Road. The road is open to traffic, but there may be delays while work is taking place.

  • Bridge work continues on Guptil Road just south of the intersection with Kneeland Flats Road. A signal is in place for alternating single-lane traffic. Motorists are asked to proceed slowly through the work zone while workers are on site. This project is anticipated to last several more weeks.
