Sugarbush lost and found turns up a pistol

If you happen to be the individual who got home from skiing or riding at Sugarbush at some point this season and realized you had lost your handgun, the Vermont State Police in Berlin might have it for you. 

State Police on Wednesday issued a news release telling the public that a pistol was found on Saturday, May 13, on a ski trail at Sugarbush Resort.

The firearm has not been reported lost or stolen and is being held at the Berlin barracks, according to Trooper Benjamin Goodwin. 

Anyone with information about the pistol or its owner should call the state police in Berlin at 802-229-9191 to contact Trooper Goodwin. 

The public also may submit an anonymous tip online at at vsp.vermont.gov/tipsubmit.
