Main Street Construction Update Nov. 14-20

Overall impacts

  • Clean-up of all areas continues including walkways, sidewalks, driveways. 

  • Line striping continues 

  • Flaggers and pedestrian crossers will be present in the construction areas. 

Between Dac Rowe Park and Stowe Street

  • New street lighting will continue to be installed in the downtown core. 

  • Gravel sidewalks and driveways will receive temporary asphalt for the winter.

  • Driveway, sidewalk, and walkway cleanup continues.

    Between Stowe Street and Park Street

  • Gravel sidewalks and driveways will receive temporary asphalt for the winter.

  • Concrete sidewalks will continue to be installed near the Park Row/Main Street intersection.

  • Driveway, sidewalk, and walkway cleanup continues.

  • New street lighting will continue to be installed.

Park Row to the end of the project  

No significant construction activities.

 

Waterbury Roundabout

This is a separate project from Main Street involving the roundabout and the roadways connecting with it. 

Crews have completed work for the season. Crews will return in the spring to do line striping touch-ups throughout the project area. Construction updates will resume in advance of project work.
