MakerSphere looks to add teaching artists, makers to lead fall programs

October 2, 2020 | Waterbury Roundabout

MakerSphere is seeking teachers for virtual and in-person programs for both children and adults.

The nonprofit creative center has educational mentors who can work with candidates to adapt their teaching for new formats as it continues to offer community art in the time of COVID-19. The center has students eager to join fall programs.

Teaching and preparation time per class total approximately 2 ½ hours per week. After school programs for students from 1st through 9th grades are held 3:30–5 p.m. Those classes feature opportunities for students to draw, paint, sculpt, make, etc. MakerSphere offers day, evening and weekend opportunities for adults in ceramics and studio arts.

Send a resume and letter of interest to makerspherevt@gmail.com.
