Governor holds press conference at Central Vermont Career Center

Gov. Phil Scott will hold his weekly press conference today at 11 a.m. at Central Vermont Career Center in Barre. 

The visit will highlight Careers in Construction Month and the governor will be joined by students, business leaders and workforce development professionals at the center located at Spaulding High School. 

A theme they will emphasize is the importance of women in the trades and efforts to address gender disparities in these professions.

The public can watch the press briefing online. It will be livestreamed on the Governor’s Facebook page and by Orca Media.
