With fewer than three months to go in the 2020-21 school year, there’s much discussion around how to end on a better note than it began. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected every aspect of our lives including school students from preschool through university.

State education officials are working on updating guidelines around COVID-19 with more in-person instruction in mind for the final weeks of the school year. They also are mindful of catching up that students no doubt will need this spring, over the summer, and into next fall on academics and just reconnecting with their teachers and schoolmates.

There will be many ideas put forth on how to shift back to “normal” from the policymakers and school administrators.

Waterbury Roundabout would like to hear from students of all ages and their parents as well. What would you do to make the school year better between now and the final days in June?

We have a short online form to collect your ideas and we hope to write about the suggestions we receive. Click here for the survey form.
