The Public Art Team of the Waterbury Area Anti-Racism Coalition led by Chiyomi McKibbin and MK Monley has drafted a Request for Proposals seeking Vermont-based artists to design and work with the community to paint an original artwork mural at 29 Stowe Street. 

The 13th Annual River of Light Lantern Parade will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3, at 5 p.m. and the theme this year is Marvelous Magic. 

There are so many stories to tell in regard to what life was like for those of us living in Waterbury, Vermont after Irene. The story I'll share is about meeting Michael Valente in August of 2012.
