Chabad of Stowe-Waterbury | High Jewish Holidays
Join us this year to celebrate the High Holidays. Together we'll listen to the call of the Shofar and taste the sweetness of the apple and honey on Rosh Hashanah, then recommit to G-d on Yom Kippur.
A full schedule of services and events begins Sunday, Sept. 10, at 10:30 a.m. with a pre-Rosh Hashanah celebration that will include bagels, schmear and sweet treats. Kids can make shana tova cards.
Rosh Hashanah, Sept. 15-17, events include a community lunch at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 17, and Shofar in the Park at Hope Davey Memorial Park at 5 p.m.
Yom Kippur is Sept. 24-25, with services scheduled days.
The prayers are warm. The melodies are timeless. The people are friendly. The kids have a program. And everyone feels at home. Services are conducted in English and Hebrew.
We'd love to have you for whatever part of the holidays makes your soul stir.
All holiday programs and services are offered free of charge and are open to all.
