ST. JOHNSBURY/WATERBURY – It comes with heavy hearts that on January 9, 2025, Colin Roger Corse peacefully passed away with his son Peter by his side. Colin was 76 and fought a courageous battle with dementia.

Born April 18, 1948, at the old farmhouse in Flecther, he was the son of the late Clifton Corse Sr. and Evelyn (Martin) Corse.

Colin served in the Vermont National Guard, worked for Huntington Homes, and was a truck driver for many years. Colin also enjoyed going on long walks with his best friend and longtime companion dog Jasper who crossed the rainbow bridge prior to Colin’s passing. He also enjoyed being in the great outdoors, hunting and fishing with family and friends.

Survivors are his children Melissa Tice, Brian Corse, Peter Corse, Roman Corse, and his granddaughter Kaity Tice; his sisters Lois Lumbra and Ruth Newhall, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Colin came from an exceptionally large family with many who have predeceased him: his brothers Rodney Corse, Allen “Bud” Martin, Harrison “Tye” Corse, Clifford Corse, and Clifton Corse Jr., and his sisters Ardele Spaulding, Thelma Burnor, Shirley White, and Maureen Patterson.

Graveside services will take place on May 24at 11 a.m. at the Montgomery Village Cemetery on Vermont Rt. 118/1884 N. Main St., in Montgomery, Vermont.
