Waterbury LEAP once again calls together local electric vehicle enthusiasts and experts for its annual Electric Vehicle Fest next Wednesday, Aug. 14, at Crossett Brook Middle School.

The free event will include a variety of electric vehicles including Teslas, Ford Mustangs and F-150s, Chevy Bolts, Volkswagens, Kias, Subarus, Hyundais and Volvos. Also on site will be electric bikes and lawn equipment.

Geared for those thinking of getting an electric vehicle, the event invites experts and owners of EVs to talk with attendees about how the various models work, what they cost and how much they might save.

Vehicles will be parked outdoors at Crossett Brook Middle School and the event runs from 5:30 to 7 p.m. No registration is required.

Volunteers with Waterbury LEAP organize and run the event. Waterbury LEAP is a nonprofit organization and Waterbury’s local energy committee. Questions? Email alaynahoward@gmail.com.
