Gravel Grinder 2022

Soggy weather conditions barely dampened enthusiasm last Sunday, May 15, for the Waterbury Area Trail Alliance's 14th Annual Gravel Grinder bike ride through Waterbury, Stowe, and Moretown.

Some registrants begged off, but 425 riders including 11 youth under age 18 checked in to ride either the 26- or the 47-mile loops up and down hilly local roads.

The non-competitive ride supports the nonprofit group's trail-building and maintenance work on Perry Hill and Little River State Park mountain bike trails. More information online at waterburytrails.com.
