Online session will introduce new library catalog system

The Waterbury Public Library has a new online catalog called Aspen Discovery and the library will have an online class on Tuesday, July 12, for patrons interested in learning more about how to use it. 

The system can be used from any device allowing patrons to browse all kinds of categories:  graphic novels, audiobooks, newly purchased items and more.  It’s also available in both Spanish and English.  

Tech Librarian Kyle Creason will be offering a “Get to Know our New Catalog” class via Zoom on July 12 at 6:30 p.m. He will lead participants through both print and digital book searches, walk through how to place holds, create lists and much more.

To join the class, go to the library's website on July 12 and click on Aspen Discovery under Adult Programs. The link will be available the day of the class.
