Find the latest public health guidance from state and national sources.
Check out a list of local businesses to find out who is open and doing curbside service or takeout meals.
Know that many agencies and service organizations are able to connect you with help for whatever new challenges this crisis has created.
Several statewide news outlets have also compiled helpful guides and coverage related to the COVID-19 crisis. Check out VtDigger, Seven Days, Burlington Free Press and Vermont Public Radio.

Vermont 2-1-1
Vermont 2-1-1 is the number to dial to find out about hundreds of important community resources, such as emergency food and shelter, disability services, counseling, senior services, health care, child care, drug and alcohol programs, legal assistance, transportation agencies, educational and volunteer opportunities, and much more.
2-1-1 is not an emergency number. It is a resource to call, email or text to help solve everyday problems or when you are facing difficult times. 2-1-1 is free, confidential and available 24/7.

3Squares Vermont may be of assistance for those whose employment status has changed recently.
This new program is providing free meals for laid-off restaurant workers, musicians, artists, gig workers, farmers and anyone in need and affected by the COVID-19 shutdowns. Meat and vegetarian options available.
Individuals may sign up online for meals delivered from noon to 6 p.m. on Thursdays at Lawson’s Finest Liquids in Waitsfield. This program is offered through a partnership of The Skinny Pancake, Intervale Center, Vermont Community Foundation and High Meadows Fund.
Waterbury Area Senior Center/Meals on Wheels
The Waterbury Senior Center serves individuals ages 60 and above with state and federally funded nutrition programs. Meals on Wheels runs from the Waterbury Senior Center serving Waterbury, Duxbury, Moretown, and parts of Middlesex and Bolton. Hot meals are delivered Monday-Friday midday; frozen meals are available for weekends. There is no formal charge, only a suggested donation of $4.50 per meal.
Currently closed due to COVID-19 restrictions on gatherings, the Senior Center also is preparing non-contact take-out meals at a cost of $7.50. New program matching volunteers and those with specific needs/requests. Staff at the Waterbury Public Library is managing this program, reviewing requests Monday-Friday.
