The Stowe Street bridge between Union Street/Railroad Street and Bidwell Lane will be temporarily closed Tuesday, Sept. 15 for maintenance, town transportation liaison Barb Farr said Monday.

The closure will occur after the morning school commute and before school ends in the afternoon, which is approximately between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Lower Stowe Street will be accessible by Main Street and Bidwell Lane.  Businesses are open.  Signs will be placed to direct drivers during this time, Farr said.
