The Current contemporary art gallery in Stowe has scheduled multiple programs in its Currently Speaking series centered around two exhibitions this summer and fall: “Taking Time: A solo exhibition by Chakaia Booker” and “Climate Imprints.” Both are on view through Oct. 19.

Currently Speaking hosts experts in various contemporary art genres and media for public discussions. Artists in these exhibitions use the metaphor of a garden in their work to address climate change, decolonization, feminism, societal tensions, and the environment.

All of the events listed below are free admission and will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m., onsite at The Current, located at 90 Pond Street. More information online at thecurrentnow.org.
