Over the spring and summer, MakerSphere was able to fine-tune online learning and now instructors are ready to dive into the academic year with  virtual learning art programs for children.

The goals are to provide a fun and positive virtual learning experience as well as some continuity in the chaos of the 2020/21 academic year. Classes have just recently begun, but it is not too late to join as class fees will be prorated.

The cost for the entire six-week session was $180, starting Sept. 22. A payment plan is available. All art supplies are included. Classes will be held using Zoom. The link to register is here.

Classes are:

  • 3rd and 4th graders: Wednesdays, 3:30-5 p.m. Instructor: Mame McKee. This class will be Makers working with cardboard, papier mache’, paint, paper, tape, toothpicks and the contents of your recycling bin, they will construct fabulous projects to challenge and satisfy their wonderful imaginations. Plenty of drawing projects, too.

  • 5th graders and up: Thursdays, 3:30-5 p.m. Instructor: Sarah-Lee Terrat. This age group will begin by revisiting the basics of drawing and painting.
