Obituary: Darryl Howard Hatch

Darryl Howard Hatch, 58, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at his home in Waterbury Center, with his family by his side. Born in Bath, New Hampshire, on May 16, 1965, he was the son of the late Roger and Patricia (Poor) Hatch. On August 9, 2003, he married Karmen Flint.

Darryl grew up in Bath and graduated from Blue Mountain Union High School. He joined the Vermont Army National Guard as a young man. He worked most of his life as a dairy farmer, first in Groton and most recently at the Percy Farm in Stowe. He was an avid NASCAR racing fan and also enjoyed local racing at Thunder Road. Darryl enjoyed watching his children playing sports and time spent with family.

Darryl is loved and mourned by his wife Karmen Hatch of Waterbury Center, his children Keith Hatch, Julie Fuller, Chasity Hatch, Kane Hatch and Konnor Hatch; his siblings Julie Rood and her husband Rodney, Rose Bean and her husband Andrew; as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.
