The Waterbury-Stowe Fish and Game Club along with the Vermont Department of Fish & Wildlife will hold two free Stop the Bleed training classes on Monday, May 22.

The 60-90 min. training is open to all although registration is required and limited to 10 people per class. Class times are 4 and 6 p.m. at the Fish and Game Club, 5365 Waterbury-Stowe Road, Waterbury Center.

Stop the Bleed offers life-saving training on how to safely and effectively stop bleeding in an emergency situation. This class covers how to properly apply pressure to a wound, how to pack a wound to control bleeding, and how to correctly apply a tourniquet.
