Duxbury Historical Society taking orders for spring flower sale fundraiser

The Duxbury Historical Society’s annual spring flower sale fundraiser is on with orders open through May 10. 

More information and the order form are available at both the Duxbury town office and online on the group’s website duxburyvt.com to download and print. 

The historical society is working with Claussen’s Florist, Greenhouse and Perennial Farm in Colchester to supply a selection of bedding plants, herbs, hanging flower baskets and perennials. 

Choose from annuals in flats including begonias, petunias, impatiens and marigolds. Herbs include parsley, basil, mint and rosemary. Hanging baskets are available with fuchsia, New Guinea impatiens, million bells and more. The perennial choices include bleeding heart, echinacea, Shasta daisies, strawberries and black-eyed Susans.  

There’s also an option to purchase $30 gift certificates to Claussen’s. 

Orders will be accepted through May 10. Customers will be able to pick up their plants during the week of May 22 at the society’s new location, the South Duxbury Church, across from Harwood Union High School on Vermont Route 100.

Payments by cash or check will be accepted and should be included with order forms. Orders may be dropped off at the town office or mailed to DHS Flower Fundraiser, ℅ Mark Morse, Treasurer, 804 Vt. Route 100, South Duxbury, VT 05660
