In Waterbury, be alert for roadside mowing and ditch/culvert work on Shaw Mansion Rd. On I-89, a new resurfacing project between Richmond and Waterbury southbound begins this week. Work in the stretch from Waterbury to Montpelier continues.
Tree work on Guptil Road on Monday will impact traffic slightly. On Wednesday, an all-day project will install new features around the Waterbury Center Triangle Green park as part of the Better Connections transportation improvements summer demonstration project.
The I-89 southbound project between Waterbury and Montpelier shifts to daytime work this week. Multiple areas will see activity. Be alert for lane closures where crews are working.
Night ramp closures at Exits 8 and 9 of I-89 in Montpelier and Middlesex are scheduled for paving to be done. Park Row will be closed on Weds., May 20, for surface repairs near the railroad tracks. Fayston bridge projects begin this week.
