Bank Teller
Community Bank is hiring tellers at both their Barre and Waterbury branches.
A Teller is responsible to create and deliver a positive customer experience while conducting financial transactions. This position requires an individual with a positive attitude, who is a team player, and who is able to actively listen for customer financial needs in order to refer them to the appropriate bank product or bank representative. A Teller must be able to adapt well to the changing workplace environment such as customer service complaints; maintain the security of customer information; prioritize items of significance; and maintain responsibility for assigned cash drawer.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Compensation: Commensurate with experience plus potential for annual merit increase. A Teller (Rotating) will work in various branch offices in a defined geographical area. A Teller is responsible to create and deliver a positive customer experience while conducting financial transactions. This position requires an individual with a positive attitude, who is a team player, and who is able to actively listen for customer financial needs in order to refer them to the appropriate bank product or bank representative. A Teller must be able to adapt well to the changing workplace environment such as customer service complaints; maintain the security of customer information; prioritize items of significance; and maintain responsibility for assigned cash drawer.
Provide quality customer service and a positive banking experience by handling financial transactions (i.e. cashing checks, handling deposits/withdrawals, etc.) with a professional attitude
Actively listen for potential sales opportunities to promote specific bank products an services, and refer customers accordingly
Conduct customer transactions with accuracy and prepare daily cash balancing within established guidelines
Ability to understand direction and adhere to established policies and procedures
Other related duties as assigned or directed
Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to pertinent policies, procedures and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner

TOWN OF FAYSTON, VT
Road Crew Member (Full-Time)
The Town of Fayston, Vermont is hiring a full-time Road Crew Member to join our dedicated Public Works team. This position offers hands-on experience with road maintenance, heavy equipment operation, and municipal infrastructure upkeep. It's ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in their work, and are looking to grow their skills in public service.
Primary Responsibilities:
Operate town equipment, including but not limited to bucket loaders, backhoes, road graders, and other heavy machinery.
Perform road-side mowing to maintain visibility and support drainage systems.
Wash and clean town bridges to promote safety and preserve infrastructure.
Assist with maintenance and repair of roads, culverts, and town facilities.
Follow all safety protocols and perform work to high standards.
Accurately document daily tasks and submit time sheets to the Road Foreman.
For Candidates With a CDL:
Operate CDL-classified vehicles and equipment (e.g., dump trucks).
Participate in snow plowing and sanding operations during winter.
Subject to pre-employment and random drug testing.
Requirements:
Ability to safely operate various heavy equipment.
Willingness to learn road maintenance procedures and equipment use.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail, punctuality, and teamwork.
CDL is preferred but not required (training support may be available).
Experience with road maintenance equipment is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly Wage: $26/hour (negotiable based on experience)
Summer Hours- Three Day Weekends.
Full-time position with municipal benefits.
